What is it? The Master's Degree in Development Economics (MDE) is a three-year part-time degree taught in English. The curriculum, which has been developed in Vietnam and in Europe, focuses on applying economic theory to the policy challenges facing Vietnam; and developing comprehensive and critical analytical and technical capacities. All graduates who have received the MDE are presently employed, primarily in government ministries and in universities, but also in the private sector, multilateral institutions, and international non-governmental organizations.
